The Hound Hut Has Arrived!!!

Its finally here!

The Grand Opening for The Hound Hut is scheduled for Feb. 15th and 16th.
We hope you will be able to join us for our opening celebration event! It has taken a lot of
planning and work to get to this day and we are so happy!

Hound Hut Is Coming To Columbus!

TESG will soon be opening the Hound Hut here in Columbus!


We will be offering Dog Daycare, Boarding and Training along with our Health & Safety Classes.

This is an exciting adventure and we will keep you updated as things progress. Right now we are working on location so once that has been finalized we will be closer to our "Grand Opening"

Thanks a bunch to Waneta Swoyer, my assistant who was able to attend the Childcare Conference with me. We had a great time and of course since she is my mom as well it was even more fun to spend time together!

Ohio Connection Childcare Conference Oct 2008

I would like to thank Amelia Rodgers and the Ohio Connection State Family Childcare Association for a great weekend. I was able to get information out on cpr and other health and safety classes and meet a lot of great people at the same time. Lunch on saturday was just great!

I hope that I can attend again in the future. It was lots of fun!!

Upcoming Childcare Classes Scheduled!

Great news for childcare providers!

Just a note to let you know that TESG will be having 2 upcoming classes in the months of November and December.

Many thanks to our sister company HeartStart of Central Ohio who so graciously have
given us space to hold these classes! Thanks so much Joe!

On Saturday Nov 8 from 1pm to 4pm at the Gahanna Christian Academy School will be a Communicable Disease 3 hour Review Class.

Go to the main TESG website under "Upcoming Events" for details on this as well as directions to the class.

On Saturday Dec 6 from 1pm to 4pm at the same Gahanna location will be a Child Abuse 3 hour Review Class.

Be sure to contact TESG by noon on the friday before the class to reserve your spot in the class.

Welcome to Training Education Specialty Group (T.E.S.G.)

Hello, My name is Colleen Timko and I am the President & Owner of a small business in Columbus Ohio called T.E.S.G.

I have been teaching health & safety classes for 22 years but in 2002 I took a break from teaching to dedicate my time to a new job position with a large healthcare system here in central ohio. In 2006 as I began to have more time, I decided to start this new little venture.

T.E.S.G. offers Health & Safety Courses to businesses, daycares, clubs and other organizations in the Central Ohio area. We are able to come to your location to teach which makes it convenient for those who need their employees trained!

We are also able to teach in most locations of Ohio but travel fees do apply. Call TESG for information on bringing the classes to you.

I will try to update the blog often and let you know of any classes that are scheduled. Although TESG is known for going out to businesses and clubs to teach at their facilities, HeartStart of Central Ohio has been wonderful in giving TESG some classroom space for upcoming classes as well.

TESG's class prices are competitive and hope that your company will keep us in mind for its training needs.

For those of you out there in Doggie Daycare, AKC Clubs, Scouting and more, TESG offers ASHI
PET FIRST AID courses. This class can be customized to meet your needs whether its a 2 hour mini class or a 4 hour in depth class. My love for dogs and rescue makes these pet courses the most fun for me personally. To see these participants sitting through a class to help them in case of a pet emergency makes me feel so good! So many people really love their pets!

TESG has also had pet seminars that included veterinarians and other training such as obedience, rally and conformation. We will post any upcoming dog related events in the future. We have something for everyone!
